For The North Church’s sermon series on Colossians, we had the goal of creating a graphic that conveyed “the preeminence of Christ.” To visually depict that Christ is above and greater than all things, we chose the symbolism of a throne. This graphic is paired with a seal, to further emphasize the regal feel. The use of the color purple is an ode to royalty. This upheld with the pairing of a muted gold and tan colors. The sans serif font and thin lines help to give the regal colors and symbolism a clean and modern flare.
